The custom shop version of Bond Raccoon features beautiful master grade American roasted flame maple fretless neck and the body made of select European alder. The fingerboard is made of Richlite composite with matching headstock front.
Bond Raccoon has a PJ set of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups. This is a unique pickup model that gives a powerful and rich tone, while maintaining the necessary brightness and percussive attack, when needed. The electronics are located under a metal cover, which provides additional shielding from hum. A custom mirror pickguard adds a vibrant accent. The bass in finished in amazing Red Velvet original nitro-acrylic finish.
Another interesting detail about this bass is the adjustment of tone and volumes by top-notch potentiometers from CTS with an Orange Drop capacitor. The electronics are based on the standard PJ wiring circuit with a hum-canceling pickup and Pure Tone jack on board.
The nut here is GraphTech TUSQ XL, which is one of the best on the market. In addition, branded Hipshot hardware, D-tuner and premium Bond Custom Shop Knobs are installed.
