Bond Munchkin Deluxe in Olympic White

Bond Munchkin is our original short-scale bass. It got its name with reference to the breed of short-legged cats because of that feature. But the features of this bass do not end there. The total length of this bass is exactly one meter. This size makes it especially comfortable to play. Moreover, such size eliminates transportation difficulties: the bass fits in literally any regular guitar case or gigbag.

The Bond Munchkin's neck is a bolt-on construction and made of radial cut roasted flame maple. This is the highest quality material. The fretboard is made of same maple and the body is made of selected European alder. Scale length measures 30,5" which provides better string tension and tone comparing to other short-scale basses on the market. The nut is GraphTech TUSQ XL, and Gotoh tuners and bridge are installed on the bass.

Bond Munchkin has a split humbucker Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound pickup. This is a unique pickup model that gives a powerful and rich tone, while maintaining the necessary brightness and clearness even during slapping. The electronics in the bass are located under a metal plate, which also provides shielding from hum. It can easily be found due to the bright shine on the front side of the bass. Another interesting detail is the adjustment of tone and volume by two potentiometers from CTS with an Orange Drop capacitor. The electronics are based on the classic Precision Bass wiring circuit with a hum-canceling pickup.

Despite the cute look, Bond Munchkin rumbles on stage powerfuly and fiercely. It is worth trying and hearing for yourself.
