What a cool weekend it was! Bond Guitars participated in Wiener Instrumente Salon during the 10th Ottakringer Vinyl & Music Festival in Vienna. The event brought together independent instrument makers, musicians and music enthusiasts for a weekend filled with live music, fresh beer, instrument culture and conversations around vinyls.
At our booth we presented a selection of Bond Guitars electric guitars and basses. Visitors spent time testing the instruments, exploring the details up close and discussing tone, materials and design ideas directly with our team. One of the highlights of the event was participating in live guitar testing together with Stephan "Edgar" Kutscher. These sessions gave visitors a chance to hear the instruments outside of a traditional showroom setting and experience how they respond in real playing situations.
The festival also included a live performance by The Makers band featuring Bond Guitars founder and head luthier Bohdan Bond. The band unites musicians who are also instrument makers, connecting the worlds of guitar making and live music on one stage.
Another special moment was seeing the Bond Bass Custom used on stage by The Navajos Blues Band from Mexico. It was exciting to hear one of our instruments become part of an international live performance during the festival.
Wiener Instrumente Salon was also a great place to connect with fellow builders, visitors and members of the guitar community. Events like this continue to strengthen relationships between independent makers across Europe. Now we’re heading to Bologna for Guitar Show Italy 2026. Bond Guitars will participate in the special EGB Luthiers Collection pavilion together with 22 selected European Guitar Builders members.
